Interpretive Illustration TutorialsAn

In my class Interpretive Illustration we do various in class tutorials exploring different techniques and finishes for images. Here is an example of a few techniques we have learned in class.
A sample of colouring using the gradient tools in photoshop.

Similar to above, but instead we are using the dodge/burn tools.

INKTOBER: DAY 3

I know, I know, I am a day late for my every other day schedule. BUT, I was sick and I am posting it today so it will be okay. Today's Inktober is a little drawing of a lovely lady who may or may not be a witch. Keep your eyes open, I will be updating again soon!

INKTOBER: DAY 2

A little love for Blue and Gansey on Inktober day two. These beautiful characters are created with love by the amazing Maggie Stiefvater.

INKTOBER: DAY 1

For the month of October I have taken on the challenge of Inktober, an ink drawing every day in the month of October. 31 days, 31 drawings.

For the first drawing of the month I took inspiration from Maggie Stiefvater's character Ronan Lynch from The Raven Boys. There is nothing like a good Ronan Lynch and his dream things.
